Hello, my name is Machema S and I am a female home carer with a wealth of experience in providing compassionate care to individuals in need. I have worked in various care settings and have experience in different care types including Live-in, Hourly, and Overnight care.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals with a range of conditions including Mild Cognitive Impairment, Bedbound patients, Parkinson's Disease, Anxiety, and Depression. I am well-equipped to provide the necessary assistance and support to help my clients manage their daily routines and maintain their independence.
While I do not currently have a car, I am a skilled and reliable driver. I am always willing to make arrangements for transportation to ensure my clients can attend appointments or outings whenever needed. My skills as a carer include bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship. I firmly believe that companionship is just as important as physical care, and I strive to create a warm and friendly environment for my clients.
In my free time, I enjoy walking, dancing, playing card games, cooking & baking, and decorating. These hobbies allow me to bring joy and creativity into the lives of those I care for. I also have a preference for pets, particularly dogs, rabbits, birds, lizards, and turtles. I find that their presence brings a sense of comfort and companionship to the lives of individuals in need.
Above all, I am motivated by my desire to help people lead independent lives. As a carer, I take great pride in knowing that I can make a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most. My caring nature, friendliness, and helpful attitude have allowed me to build strong relationships with my clients, ensuring their care experience is as comfortable and fulfilling as possible.
